My Services
As a former registered Driving Instructor and Assessor for both DVLA Medical Branch and Motability, I can provide an exceptional and unique level of reporting for claimants needs.
I can provide on-road assessments of the claimants’ current driving ability and future needs. My reports can be submitted to DVLA Medical Branch as evidence to support the reinstatement of a driving licence and to advise DVLA of any adaptations that are needed, and their appropriate licence coding.
I ensure that every aspect and detail of the claimants’ previous Personal Transportation and lifestyle is considered, to ensure that their future needs are comprehensively met.
My reporting is robust and evidence-based and therefore able to withstand the utmost scrutiny. I am extremely organised and consequently work to strict deadlines.
I am mindful as to the issue of costs and these are reflected in my charges.

Full Areas of Expertise
Motorcycle and Trike Assessments
With the experience and training I gained whilst working at The Mobility Centres I am able to offer combined motorcycle, trike and vehicle assessments if required. My reports are comprehensive and cover motorcycling related issues including adaptations, motorcycle/sidecar, trikes and quads.
Motorhomes and Campervans
Motorhomes and Campervans are becoming increasingly popular amongst disabled people. I am able to advise on the best vehicle type and, in addition, advise on any adaptations required such as wet rooms, profiling beds, wide access entry doors as well as driving adaptations.
Driving and Passenger Adaptations
There are numerous driver and passenger adaptations available all of which meet a variety of needs and disabilities. Mistakes recommending the wrong type of adaptation can be costly. Through my experience of assessing and teaching I am well placed to advise on the most suitable solution.
Wheelchair Accessible Vehicles
Wheelchair Accessible Vehicles commonly known as WAV’s are very expensive vehicles. There are many conversion companies in the UK all of which have their own range of vehicles with varying specifications. In my reports I will always provide two quotes each from a different conversion company, this ensures complete financial transparency.
Case Managers and The Rehabilitation Code 2015
I am able to provide passenger and or driver assessments both on and off road for those who are wheelchair dependent. I provide a written report that is client specific which includes recommendations and costings for both the vehicle and any adaptations required. As an Expert Witness I ensure the needs of not only the individual are met but also those of their families.
I acknowledge the value of team work and am happy to work alongside Case Managers and Conversion Companies to ensure that the best vehicle solution for the individual is found.
I am aware of the 2015 Rehabilitation Code and Protocols that must be followed in Personal Injury cases.
